SAEDNEWS: A British Tourist Vacationing in Egypt Was Stunned After Discovering Mysterious Snake-Like Remains on a Scenic Beach
According to Saed News, 56-year-old Carol Ann from Hertfordshire discovered a bizarre specimen near the resort town of El Gouna while on holiday along the Red Sea coast. Researchers speculate that the unsettling find may be the intestines of a dugong, a large marine mammal native to the local waters.
The object was fully exposed against the sandy beach and appeared to have washed ashore. Carol Ann described her reaction: “I had never seen anything like it. I didn’t want to touch it because, while fascinating, it looked quite disgusting.”
Regarding its appearance, she added: “The specimen was very pale gray with some white spots. There were also membranous sections or streaks of red and yellow.”
As seen in Carol Ann’s photos, the strange remains show no obvious features such as eyes or fins that could make identification easier.
