How to Make Penne Pasta with Alfredo Sauce
Wash the chicken breast and slice it into thin strips. You can also cook it whole and slice it later, or cut it into cubes and mix it with pasta.

Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and season them with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Massage the chicken so the seasoning is well absorbed. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour to let it rest and become tender.

Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth, remove the outer layer if needed, and slice them into medium pieces.

Sauté the mushrooms over high heat with a little oil to prevent them from releasing water.

Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and fry it in a pan until cooked and golden.

Melt 1/4 cup butter in a pan over low heat, then add grated garlic and sauté until the raw smell disappears.

Add 1 cup cream to the garlic and butter mixture and stir. For better results, bring milk and cream to room temperature first and whisk them before adding.

Add milk and whisk continuously to prevent lumps. You can adjust the quantity of milk if needed.

Gradually add Parmesan cheese while stirring. Do not let the sauce become too thick.

Season with a little salt and black pepper. You may also add garlic powder, chili flakes, or oregano if desired.

Add finely chopped parsley to the sauce (optional).

Bring a pot of water to a boil.

Add salt and a little oil to the boiling water.

Cook the pasta until it reaches your preferred texture.

Add the cooked chicken to the Alfredo sauce (optional, depending on preference).

Add sautéed mushrooms and mix well.

Drain the cooked pasta.

Add the pasta to the sauce and mix thoroughly so the sauce coats the pasta. You may add a little reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.

Turn off the heat once the desired consistency is reached and serve immediately. Alfredo sauce thickens quickly, so it is best served right away.

Garnish with parsley and cherry tomatoes if desired.

You can add oregano for extra flavor.
Use garlic powder if you prefer not to use fresh garlic.
Do not overuse butter as it can affect the taste.
You may cook the chicken whole and slice it afterward.
Adding pasta water helps create a smoother sauce.
A little lemon juice can be added to mushrooms while sautéing.
Parsley is optional.
Serve immediately after mixing with sauce to avoid thickening.
