One of the most popular homemade cakes is zebra cake. Its chocolate stripes make it different from other homemade cakes. If you want the overall cake pattern to come out clean, you must do it carefully and with patience. This cake is also known by other names such as two-color cake and zebra-striped cake. Follow the instructions below:
Eggs: 4
Flour: 2.5 cups
Sugar: 1 cup
Milk or water: 1 cup
Oil: 1 cup
Baking powder: 1 tablespoon
Vanilla: 1 teaspoon
Cocoa powder: 2 tablespoons

Step 1
First, turn on the oven and set it to 180 degrees Celsius so it gradually heats up. Sift the flour three times and pour it into a bowl. Sift the baking powder as well, add it to the flour, and set it aside.

First, break the eggs into a bowl and if they are healthy, pour them into a larger bowl. Then add vanilla and sugar to them and mix the egg mixture with an electric mixer on high speed until the batter becomes stretchy and turns white. (Take the eggs out of the refrigerator at least half an hour before baking the cake so they reach room temperature.)

After the mixture becomes stretchy, add the liquid oil to the sugar and egg mixture and mix a little. Then add the milk and mix all the ingredients again well with the mixer. Take 2 tablespoons of flour and set it aside.

Then gradually add the remaining flour to the mixture and preferably mix the batter in a circular motion with a spatula so that you have a smooth mixture. Divide the resulting batter into two equal parts and add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to half of the batter.

Then add the 2 tablespoons of flour that you had set aside to the other half. Then choose your desired baking pan and either line the bottom with parchment paper or grease it completely with a brush dipped in a little oil.

Start pouring from the center of the circle so it becomes easier.

Again, wait for it to spread in the pan and then continue layering in the same way. To shape the cake layers, you can use a toothpick to draw your desired patterns on the cake batter. Then turn on the oven at 180 degrees Celsius to preheat it.
