SAEDNEWS: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has warned that any further US-Israeli attack on Iran would trigger a wide-ranging and effective response, dismissing threats and psychological pressure against the country as baseless.
According to Saednews, In a statement released on Tuesday to commemorate Iran’s National Day of Fighting Arrogance, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said continued threats and psychological pressure demonstrated the failure of the two wars of aggression launched against Iran by the United States and Israel.
The statement referred to a recent meeting between Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei and senior Iranian military commanders. During the meeting, the Leader instructed the Armed Forces to respond rapidly and without geographical restrictions to any renewed aggression against the country.
The IRGC announced that it had revised and expanded its list of potential targets to cover both the “tangible and intangible assets of the enemy within range.” It stressed that any threat, regardless of its nature or scale, would be met with an immediate and effective response extending beyond geographical boundaries.
The statement further emphasized that Iran’s Armed Forces and people would decide when and under what conditions any hostile attacks against the country would come to an end.
The warning follows similar statements by senior Iranian officials, who have cautioned that any fresh military aggression would prompt a response extending beyond American military bases and installations across the region. This signals a broader potential response than the 39-day US-Israeli military campaign against Iran, which concluded with a ceasefire in mid-April.
Tehran has maintained that it remains open to a peaceful resolution of its confrontation with Washington, provided the United States meets Iran’s conditions. These include a permanent cessation of aggression on all fronts and the removal of what Tehran describes as illegal sanctions imposed on the country.
