SAEDNEWS: Reacting to the United States’ recent attack on Iran, the chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said the strike demonstrates the desperation of those who falsely claim to defend human rights.
According to Saednews, Ebrahim Azizi said on Wednesday that the alleged US targeting of a wedding ceremony and the killing of civilians in Kuhestak, Iran, demonstrated what he described as the “utter desperation” of those who falsely claim to defend human rights.
In a post on his X account, Azizi said the incident was a repetition of what he called atrocities in Minab and Lamerd.
“Make no mistake: these crimes will not go unpunished. Nothing will protect them from the crushing will of Iran’s Armed Forces,” he added.
Dozens of people were reportedly killed or injured after US forces allegedly attacked a wedding ceremony and a residential area in Bandar-e Kuhestak, in Iran’s southern Hormozgan Province, on Wednesday evening.
