SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command stated that operations against U.S. forces will continue as a “lesson” until Washington regrets its actions. The command also warned that any country cooperating with the U.S. military should be prepared to face consequences.
According to Saednews, Iran’s joint military command said its forces carried out missile and drone attacks against U.S. military bases across the region in response to American strikes on southern Iran that reportedly killed civilians. Tehran warned that its response would become more severe if U.S. military operations continue.
Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesman for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command, said U.S. forces had targeted military and civilian locations in southern Iran after what he described as repeated failures in the war imposed on the country. He said the attacks resulted in the deaths of innocent civilians.
According to Zolfaghari, Iran’s armed forces responded with rapid and powerful missile and drone strikes against U.S. positions throughout the region. He claimed the attacks caused extensive damage to infrastructure, military facilities, weapons and equipment, while also killing or injuring a significant number of U.S. commanders and troops.
The spokesman said Iran would continue its military operations as a warning to the United States until Washington "regrets its crimes." He added that any further U.S. actions in the region would trigger responses that would be broader, more powerful and more destructive.
Zolfaghari also cautioned countries cooperating with the U.S. military, saying they should be prepared to face what he described as "dangerous consequences."
