SAEDNEWS: US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll Resigns After 18 Months in Office
According to Saednews, CBS confirmed his departure, reporting that it followed months of conflict between him and Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth.
The 41-year-old, who became the youngest-ever Army Secretary, has frequently been described as President Donald Trump’s “drone guy.”
In a statement provided to CBS, the White House said Driscoll had been “highly effective” in advancing Trump’s agenda to “Make America Strong Again” and had demonstrated “outstanding leadership” during military operations.
