SAEDNEWS: Iran Says Strait of Hormuz Closed to Uncoordinated Ships Until U.S. Meets Commitments
According to Saednews, The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it maintains “decisive control” over the Strait of Hormuz, dismissing U.S. claims that the waterway remains open as false statements aimed at influencing oil prices and concealing American setbacks.
In a statement, the IRGC Navy said the strait remains fully closed to ships attempting to pass without coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran. It said the closure would continue until what it described as the “mischief of the terrorist American army” against Iran comes to an end and U.S. commitments are fulfilled.
The IRGC also assured the Iranian public that the strategic waterway remains under the organization’s full and effective control.
