According to SAEDNEWS, Xi Jinping made these remarks during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying that negotiations are very important and that the war against Iran must be stopped.
Xi said that the situation in the Middle East is at a decisive stage and the region is ready to move from war to peace. He stressed that conflicts in the Middle East must be stopped as quickly and completely as possible, and that the resumption of tensions is unacceptable.
He also said that a quick end to the conflict could help reduce obstacles to international energy supply and trade.
Referring to China–Russia relations, Xi Jinping added that relations between Beijing and Moscow have reached a high level due to strengthened political trust, and the two sides are jointly shaping the path of bilateral development based on mutual respect and interests.
The Chinese President also stressed that in the current turbulent international situation, the world is witnessing hegemony and division, and China and Russia must cooperate to build a more just global governance system.
