SAEDNEWS: A military source reports Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group withdraws to southern Yemen waters
According to Saed News’ political service, citing Fars, the U.S. Navy’s Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group, accompanied by several destroyers and a submarine, is currently deployed near the Gulf of Aden, east of Socotra Island in southern Yemen.
The source noted that the group is roughly 1,400 kilometers from Chabahar Port in southeastern Iran.
In recent days, Iran has warned that U.S. attacks could significantly increase the risk of a regional war in West Asia and push global oil prices above $150 per barrel. Yesterday, Major General Mohammad Hossein Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, officially stated that Iran’s military doctrine has shifted toward an offensive posture.
