SAEDNEWS: Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said: “Even Abbas Kiarostami’s home was not spared from the bombs dropped by U.S.-Israeli aggressors. Was Kiarostami’s home also part of the so-called ‘imminent threat’ against America?”
According to the political section of Saed News, Esmail Baghai, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account:
“Do you remember Abbas Kiarostami, the renowned Iranian director and winner of the 1997 Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or for Taste of Cherry? Even his home was not spared from the bombs dropped by the American-Israeli aggressors. Was Kiarostami’s home also considered part of an ‘imminent threat’ to the United States?
The reality is that the U.S.-Israeli military aggression against Iran is not just a war against a country or its land—it is a war against a culture, civilization, and deeply rooted identity. Yet Iran, drawing on these very roots, will ultimately prevail over its enemies.”
