According to SAEDNEWS, Abdolreza Norouzi, in response to a question from a Radio Health listener about whether eating chicken liver is harmful for the elderly, said: weekly consumption of chicken liver not only has no harm for older adults, but can also be a rich source of essential nutrients for maintaining their health.

He added: chicken liver, due to being rich in vital micronutrients, is considered a positive addition to the diet of elderly people.

Norouzi noted that this food is rich in iron, which is very important for preventing anemia in this age group.

He continued: in addition to iron, chicken liver contains significant amounts of zinc, phosphorus, and magnesium, each of which plays an important role in strengthening the immune system, bone health, and nervous system function.

This nutrition specialist emphasized that it is recommended that elderly people benefit from this valuable food in moderation, meaning once a week.
