Saed News: Nguyen Van Chin, a 92-year-old man, has not cut his hair for 80 years.
According to SAEDNEWS, citing Sarpush, the Vietnamese man, who has grown his hair for many years and whose hair has reached a length of 5 meters, says it is a divine command. Nguyen Van Chin, 92, has not cut his hair for 80 years. According to this superstitious belief, if he cuts or even combs his hair, he will die; therefore, over the years he has only tied his hair behind his head and never cut it.
He says he only takes care of his hair by keeping it clean and dry. Nguyen believes that God wanted him to grow his hair for many years. Speaking to Reuters, he said: “I remember when I was very young, I had thick black hair. While I was combing it, I heard a voice inside me telling me never to cut my hair, and from that moment I decided to keep it long forever.”
His fifth son helps him gather and maintain his hair. His 62-year-old son says it may seem simple, but for his father it is a sacred act.
