SAEDNEWS: Minimum Disclosure of Information Set as Key Condition by Supreme Stock Exchange Council for Market Reopening

What Is the Most Important Condition Set by the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange for Reopening the Market?

According to the political desk of Saed News, Ghadir Masoumi Khanqah, Director of Supervision over Exchanges at the Securities and Exchange Organization, referred to the conditions set by the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange for reopening the equity market, stating that a total of eight conditions have been proposed, three of which are directly related to disclosure.

As reported by Tasnim, he emphasized that exiting the state of ambiguity is essential for transparency. Based on the decision of the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange, at least half of the companies (issuers listed in the capital market) must provide disclosures.

He added that, accordingly, disclosure should lead to information symmetry, which in turn will pave the way for fair trading in the market.
