SAEDNEWS: The Director General of Crisis Management of East Azerbaijan Province stated: No explosion occurred in Tabriz today.
According to the Political Service of Saed News, Farshi, Director General of Crisis Management at East Azerbaijan Province, announced that following reports in some media outlets and on social media about an explosion in Tabriz, investigations indicate that the news is false.
The Public Relations Director of the Tabriz Fire and Safety Services Organization also denied the reports circulating on some social media platforms about an explosion and fire in the city.
Siamak Norouzi, rejecting the rumors circulating online, stated: “No unusual explosion or fire has occurred in Tabriz, and the published reports on this matter are not accurate. Citizens should follow news about incidents only from official and reliable sources and avoid paying attention to social media rumors.”
Norouzi emphasized that the Tabriz Fire Department monitors the city’s safety around the clock, and in the event of any incident, official channels will provide the necessary information.
The images circulating on social media are from incidents during the 12-Day Sacred Defense and were shared on social networks at the same time as reports of an explosion in a residential building in Bandar Abbas.
