SAEDNEWS: Thousands of people in cities across the United States—including New York, Washington, and Atlanta—flooded the streets to protest Donald Trump’s policies.
According to the political news service of SaedNews, media outlets reported on Saturday evening that thousands of people in New York and other U.S. cities gathered to protest against President Donald Trump. The demonstration is called “No to Monarchy.”
Fox News reported that by 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time, large crowds had gathered in New York, Washington D.C., and Atlanta. Significant turnouts were also seen in Charlotte, North Carolina; Arlington, Virginia; and outside the U.S. Embassy in London. In New York, protesters carried signs and chanted slogans demanding an end to Trump’s political dominance.
Organizers say more than 2,500 events are planned across 50 states, coordinated by a coalition of over 200 progressive groups led by the “Indivisible” organization.
This marks the third major public mobilization since Trump returned to the White House, and it is expected to be the largest so far. The demonstrations come amid a government shutdown that has halted federal programs and services. Organizers also warned that the Trump administration’s confrontational approach to Congress and the courts—which the Associated Press described as “aggressive”—signals a dangerous drift toward authoritarianism in America.
