SAEDNEWS: After a fierce conflict where enemies boasted but were ultimately defeated, Iran emerged stronger despite massive opposition from Israel, the US, and their allies. The victory, foretold by religious and political leaders, marks a turning point with Israel deeply weakened and Iran’s resilience and power confirmed.
1. After the Battle of Jamal, in which the instigators, despite all their threats and boasts, were severely defeated and humiliated, our honorable master, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), described the two armies standing on opposite sides of that battlefield as follows:
"They thundered like thunder and flashed like lightning, yet despite these two phenomena, they failed and were defeated. We do not thunder unless we strike, nor do we pour rain unless we cause a flood."
The enemies roared like thunder and flashed like lightning as if ready to attack, but despite all their bluster, they were weak and fearful in battle. But we do not make a sound unless we take action, nor do we cause a flood unless we bring a torrent.
2. Now, pay attention to these few documented reports, which are only a small fraction of many and a handful among tons:
Qatar’s Foreign Minister: Trump requested a ceasefire after Iran’s attack on Al-Udeid base.
Israeli newspaper Maariv: Iran has not only remained strong but has emerged stronger than before this war.
Maariv newspaper: Israel’s defense layers have clearly collapsed and the situation will worsen in the future.
Israeli site Calcalist: The cost of the war with Iran has pushed Israel to the brink of collapse.
Yedioth Ahronoth quoting an Israeli officer: The places hit by Iranian missiles look like battlefields. The destruction we saw in Tel Aviv’s streets was terrifying and maddening.
Yossi Melman, Israeli analyst: Our euphoria did not last long. Was it even necessary to enter this war against the Iranians? We should have considered their willingness to sacrifice, as they showed during the 8-year war of attrition with Saddam.
BBC reporter: In Tel Aviv, whenever I speak to someone, I see signs of despair and helplessness. The defense is tired and worn out. Israel did not expect Iran’s attacks to be this extensive.
CNN reporter: Fear, chaos, and anxiety fill the streets of Tel Aviv. Streets are full of rubble. Iran’s new missiles are very precise and capable of complex maneuvers.
Washington Post: Israelis are paralyzed by Iran’s missile barrage and are trembling in fear.
English Middle East Eye magazine: The myth of Israel’s invulnerability has been shattered by Netanyahu’s delusions.
Gideon Levy, Haaretz analyst: Everything is paralyzed. Everything has stopped. The economy is stalled; life can’t go on like this. I don’t think Israeli society can endure this situation for long.
John Mearsheimer, American theorist: Israel’s airports are closed, ports locked down, missile defenses depleted—Is this a victory?!
MacGregor, retired US Army colonel: Israel’s situation is very dire; one-third of Tel Aviv is either completely destroyed or severely damaged.
Daniel Davis, retired US Army colonel: Look at Iran’s missiles that pierce the Iron Dome without difficulty.
Haaretz: Iran has turned Tel Aviv and Haifa into Gaza.
Trump at NATO summit: Israel is severely damaged and barely able to continue.
BBC reporter: People in Arab countries say Iran has been under sanctions for 47 years and no one supported it, yet it has produced the most modern weapons and stood alone against the US and Israel…
This is only a small fraction of many reports, while the Zionist regime has imposed a strange censorship and severely prevented leaks.
According to this newspaper, Israel’s security apparatus—which broadly includes the Ministry of War, intelligence, espionage, and security agencies—spent more than 67 billion shekels in just the first five months of 2025 alone, which is half of the entire public budget.
Now add the costs of the Gaza war and the Iran war. Worse still, the US has so far refused any financial aid to Israel, meaning that Israelis themselves must pay for Netanyahu’s wars through reduced purchasing power and higher taxes.
3. This verse from Surah Al-Anfal (Quran) also describes the situation perfectly, as if narrating the behind-the-scenes of our recent battlefield with the two great devils (America and Israel). Read it!
"And when Satan embellished their deeds for them and said, 'No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your guardian.' But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned back on his heels and said, 'Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; indeed, I fear Allah. And Allah is severe in penalty.'"
Remember when Satan (read: America) adorned the deeds of these Zionists against Islam and the Prophet (PBUH) and said, “No one can defeat you today (the Zionist regime’s delusion), and I am with you.” But when the two sides of the battlefield (believers and disbelievers — Iran and Israel) appeared, he withdrew and said, “I disassociate myself from you. I see what you do not see, and Allah’s punishment is severe.”
4. Our opponent in this battle was not just Israel, but America, the UK, France, Germany, and dozens of other big and small world powers stood openly—and not secretly—beside the Zionist regime and entered the war arena. This reality alone multiplies the value of our great victory many times over, exactly like the sacred defense (Iran-Iraq war) of eight years.
It would be a shame not to mention here the wise words and sincere prayers of our late Imam Khomeini (may God’s mercy be upon him), who after victory in the eight-year war and defeating a multitude of enemies, in an intimate prayer to the Merciful God said:
"O God, You know that arrogance and the world-devouring America plucked the flowers of Your mission’s garden. O God, in this world of oppression and tyranny, our only refuge is You. We are utterly alone and know no one except You, nor have we asked to know anyone but You. Help us, for You are the best helper. O God, compensate the bitterness of these days with the sweetness of the reappearance of Your servant, the Mahdi—may our souls be sacrificed for his dust—and reaching You." (Sahifeh Imam, vol. 21, p. 95)
5. Now look at the wise (read: spiritual) prediction of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution at the start of the recent 12-day war! In part of his televised message, he said:
"The Zionist regime will not escape this crime unscathed... The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will act decisively and will bring misery upon the vile Zionist regime."
... And indeed, it has become miserable! Hasn’t it?! And this is only the beginning of the results of the dawn... “Indeed, their appointment is the morning. Is not the morning near?” (Quran 78:42)
