40 Million For the Speechless Money to Buy the A56? Is It Worth it?

Saednews: According to the Science and Technology Service of Saednews, a few sellers who have the 256 GB version of the Galaxy A56 available, offer it at a price close to 42 million Toman, which is about 12 million Toman more than the A55. The new Samsung phone does not have any remarkable differences compared to the A55 in terms of camera, battery, and display. However, the upgrade from the Exynos 1480 chip to the Exynos 1580 chip results in the Galaxy A56 having about 20% better performance in the processor section compared to the A55.

Galaxy A56 with no appearance change from A55

The Galaxy A56 is slightly lighter than the A55, weighing less than 200 grams. The weight of the Galaxy A56 is exactly 198 grams, which is about 15 grams lighter than the previous generation. In terms of appearance, no significant improvements were expected from Samsung, and the A56 has been launched with the same style as the A55.

The Galaxy A56, like the A55, is designed with a glass back, and the front of the phone is equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus+. The most notable visual difference between the A56 and A55 could be the new design of the rear camera setup.

Galaxy A56 with the A55 display

The Galaxy A56, like the A55, features a Super AMOLED display. The 120Hz refresh rate is the second common feature between the A56 and A55, which is expected from a solid mid-range phone. The biggest change in the A56 display is the increase in maximum brightness from 1000 to 1200 nits.

The Galaxy A56, like its predecessor, uses a 6.7-inch display, but this display takes up more of the front panel, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the A56.

Galaxy A56 with the A55 camera

The Galaxy A56 does not offer any advancements in the camera section compared to the A55. Once again, the 50-megapixel main camera is used, which is good for a mid-range phone and takes acceptable photos.

Along with the main sensor, the Galaxy A56 has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. It seems that Samsung did not want to change the winning combination of the A55, as the camera setup on the A56 is identical to the previous generation.

The Galaxy A56 does, however, have a better selfie camera. Contrary to what one might think, the switch from a 32-megapixel front camera to a 12-megapixel camera has made the selfie camera of the A56 significantly better than that of the A55.

Galaxy A56 with a better processor than the A55

The Galaxy A56 is powered by the Exynos 1580 chip, a custom processor from Samsung that, according to Samsung's claims, performs about 40% better in processing tasks than the A55's Exynos 1480 chip.

The A55 used the Exynos 1480 chip, which, according to benchmark reviews, could score 45 out of 100 possible points. The A56 now scores 55 points, which on paper means a 20% improvement. In short, the A56 is a better option for gaming and is generally more powerful than its predecessor.

Galaxy A56 with better battery life

Thanks to the Exynos 1580 processor, the Galaxy A56 offers slightly better battery life compared to the A55. This improvement is small because, like the A55, the A56 uses a 5000mAh battery, and the processor upgrade contributes only about 5-10% to the increase in battery life.

The Galaxy A56 also supports a 45W adapter, which has been a game-changer for Samsung's mid-range phones and ensures faster battery charging.

Galaxy A56 more expensive than A55

The price of the Galaxy A56 in Iran, upon its arrival in the mobile market, is set at around 42 million Toman. This price is for the 256 GB version of the A56, which is about 12 million Toman more than the A55.

Currently, the 256 GB version of the Galaxy A55 is priced at around 30 million Toman, and with the initial hype of the A56's release fading, we may see a reduction in prices from sellers in the coming weeks. The Galaxy A56 is priced 10-12 million more than the A55, yet in terms of appearance, display, camera, and battery, there is no significant difference from the previous generation, with only a 20% improvement in the processor section.
