SAEDNEWS: This innovation by Professor Ebrahim Adnan Serajoglu is considered effective for early menopause, uterine fibroids, ovarian and menstrual disorders, certain infertility types, and other gynecological conditions.
According to the Saed News Medical Service, citing Behdasht News, I am sharing this simple traditional remedy because its logic aligns with our own traditional medicine, and many women have reported positive results. I have added explanations and practical tips based on my own experience, making this version more complete and effective than the original.
Important Note: Because this remedy serves as a form of body cleansing, it is generally safe even for healthy women.
The drink should be consumed twice daily, 10 minutes before lunch and dinner. Begin preparation about 30 minutes before each meal:
Boil two medium glasses of chlorine-free water.
Peel two medium yellow onions, discarding only the outer dry layer.
Chop the onions into 4–6 pieces and add them to the boiling water. As the water will stop boiling initially, wait for it to return to a boil.
Once boiling again, cover the pot and let it simmer for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.
Strain the solution and let it cool slightly. Drink it 10 minutes before lunch. Prepare a fresh batch similarly for dinner.
The treatment is structured in 15-day cycles:
Begin on the fifth day of menstruation and continue for 15 days.
Stop until the fifth day of the next cycle, then repeat for three consecutive 15-day cycles.
A. Menopausal Women or Women with Irregular Periods Due to Other Causes
They may follow one of two approaches:
Treat for 15 days and rest for 15 days each month, keeping the schedule consistent. If menstruation occurs during treatment, count the current period as a full cycle and restart the next cycle on the fifth day of the new period.
Continue treatment for three consecutive months. The same rules about menstruation apply.
B. Women with Highly Irregular Cycles
If menstruation occurs at least once in a 40-day period, follow the standard approach (starting from the fifth day of menstruation).
If periods are longer than 40 days apart, follow approach A.
C. Adjustment During Treatment
If onion therapy causes changes in cycle timing, use the new menstruation as a reference for continuing treatment.
Use yellow onions only; red or white onions are not suitable.
Prepare each dose fresh and drink it lukewarm. If timing is difficult, consume as soon as possible, though the effect may be slightly reduced.
Some unusual vaginal discharge, dark spotting, or increased white/yellow secretions may occur as the body eliminates waste—this is normal.
Pregnant women should not use this remedy due to the risk of miscarriage. Women trying to conceive may continue unless pregnancy is confirmed.
There is no age restriction for this remedy.
Prefer spring or well water; if unavailable, let tap water stand in an open container to remove chlorine.
Consistency is key. Short interruptions are acceptable, but longer breaks require restarting the treatment.
If stomach issues prevent consumption before meals, take it two to three hours after eating.
Avoid constipation, and address it promptly if it occurs.
Avoid chemical medications for fertility during treatment if possible, but using this remedy alongside other traditional or medical treatments is generally safe.
Temporary irregularities in cycle timing, bleeding, hot flashes, or mild abdominal discomfort may occur. If severe bleeding occurs, pause the treatment and resume on the fifth day of the next period.
Women with endometriosis may use this remedy, though it may increase menstrual bleeding.
Women with high prolactin levels may also try this remedy, though cooling and astringent treatments are generally more beneficial.
This method can be combined with fertility treatments like IVF to potentially improve success rates.
For fertility support, after consuming the onion extract, prepare a second drink with 8–9 dried figs in two glasses of boiling water. After 5–6 minutes, add a fresh carrot and boil for 3–4 more minutes. Strain and drink lukewarm.
Daily use of yarrow or fennel (as tea, decoction, distillate, or mixed with honey) can be beneficial, except during menstruation or pregnancy.
Between cycles, every other day, place a local egg on a clean white cloth, fold, and sit in a warm bath for 30 minutes to allow vaginal absorption. Repeat seven times per cycle.
Avoid heavy work and spicy foods during heavy bleeding.
Herbal teas such as thyme, borage, dill seeds, and cumin may help relieve digestive discomfort.
