SAEDNEWS: Queen of England Offers Unusual Reasons for Not Visiting Her Husband, Prince Philip, in Hospital

Strange Reason Queen Elizabeth II Avoided Visiting Her Husband in the Hospital

According to Saed News, citing the Young Journalists Club, the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) was hospitalized for four nights and was eventually, following his doctor’s assessment, permitted to spend Christmas with his family.

Philip, 98, the husband of Queen Elizabeth, was not visited in the hospital by his family, which became a source of public criticism and satire. As criticism grew over why the Queen had not visited her husband, she was compelled to clarify the situation.

Queen Elizabeth stated that not visiting hospitals is a long-standing rule and protocol within the royal family. She explained that such visits are considered disruptive, as they may cause unnecessary stress for patients undergoing treatment. In general, members of the royal family do not visit one another in hospital.

She added that she did not want her presence to create psychological pressure for other patients and their families. On the other hand, Prince Philip reportedly disliked unnecessary noise and had asked the Queen to remain with the family.

However, this explanation was not widely accepted, as members of the royal family have previously visited relatives in hospital. Critics argued that the Queen’s statement appeared to be an attempt to justify her absence from visiting her husband.
