SAEDNEWS: Developed by Professor Ibrahim Adnan Siracoglu, this formulation is used for treating premature menopause, uterine fibroids, vaginal infections, menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, PCOS, ovarian dysfunction, infertility, and other gynecological conditions.
According to the Medical Service of Saed News, and as cited by Behdasht News, since the logic behind this simple treatment method aligns with traditional Iranian medicine, and many women have reportedly achieved positive results using it, it is presented here with additional notes and clarifications based on personal experience to make it more complete and potentially more effective than the original version.
An important point is that since this prescription acts as a kind of body cleansing from waste materials, it is not harmful even for healthy women.
Women who intend to use onion therapy due to infertility are advised to also read relevant infertility-related materials in specialized sources.
This drink should be consumed twice daily, 10 minutes before lunch and dinner. Therefore, preparation should begin about 30 minutes before meals:
Boil two medium glasses of chlorine-free water.
Peel two medium yellow onions (only remove the outer dry layer).
Cut the onions into 4–6 pieces and add them to the boiling water.
The water will temporarily stop boiling; wait until it resumes boiling.
After it starts boiling again, cover the pot and let it boil for 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and strain the liquid.
Allow it to become lukewarm.
Drink it 10 minutes before lunch.
Repeat the same process freshly before dinner.
The treatment is carried out in 15-day cycles:
Start from the 5th day of menstruation
Continue for 15 consecutive days
Then stop
Repeat from the 5th day of the next menstrual cycle
This process is repeated for three consecutive cycles.
They may choose one of the following methods:
Follow 15 days of treatment and 15 days of rest in a monthly cycle, regularly for three months.
If menstruation occurs during treatment, that period is considered a complete cycle and treatment should restart from day 5 of the cycle.
If delays or irregularities occur, cycles should still follow a consistent 15-day structure from the end of the previous period.
If menstruation occurs at least once every 40 days, they should follow the standard method (starting from day 5 of menstruation).
Otherwise, they may follow the 15-day cycle method described above.
If menstrual timing changes during treatment, the new cycle should be used as the basis for continuation.

Yellow onions must be used (not white or red onions).
The decoction must be freshly prepared and consumed lukewarm.
Mild bleeding or unusual discharge may occur during treatment; it is considered part of body cleansing in this traditional view.
Pregnant women should NOT use this method due to risk of miscarriage.
Women trying to conceive may use it, but should stop if pregnancy is suspected or confirmed.
No specific age restriction exists.
Chlorine-free water is preferred; if not available, tap water should be left exposed for several hours.
If doses are missed briefly, treatment may continue; longer interruptions may require restarting the cycle.
Constipation should be prevented or treated during the process.
Users are advised to avoid chemical fertility medications during this period, though combining with other traditional methods is not prohibited.
Menstrual irregularities, pelvic discomfort, or changes in bleeding may occur; severe cases should be medically evaluated.
Roasted ground lentils (taken several times daily)
Pomegranate peel, oak gall, plantain seeds, and similar herbal astringents
Herbal decoctions such as psyllium with certain traditional extracts
Raw leek juice in small amounts
Avoid heavy physical activity and spicy foods during heavy bleeding
Herbal teas like thyme, borage, cumin, and dill may help with pain

The method is sometimes used in cases of endometriosis, though it may increase menstrual bleeding.
It may also be used by individuals with elevated prolactin levels.
It can be combined with assisted reproductive techniques such as IVF.
After consuming onion decoction, another drink is prepared:
8–9 dried figs boiled in two glasses of water
After 5–6 minutes, add one chopped fresh carrot
Boil for another 3–4 minutes
Strain and drink lukewarm
Herbal options such as yarrow or fennel may be consumed (except during menstruation or pregnancy).
In each cycle, a traditional external practice involving raw eggs placed on cloth and used in a ritual manner is also described in the original source.
