A Strange Selfie of a Newlywed with a Gun That Killed Her

According to Saed News, citing Salam No, a bride lost her life after using a gun while taking a selfie.

You may have heard the saying: “Any activity that puts one’s life at risk is considered foolish.” This is the tragic story of an Indian woman who casually lost her life while trying to capture a selfie for her social media page. Radhika Gupta, placing her father-in-law’s gun under her chin, never imagined she was experiencing the final moments of her life.

Sudden Death from Gunshot

The 26-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh, India, died after the gun went off unexpectedly. Local media reported that the incident occurred when Gupta accidentally placed her hand on the trigger while taking the selfie. After the bullet struck her neck, she was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Suspicious Circumstances

Although it appears to have been a tragic accident, her father has filed a police complaint due to suspicions surrounding her death. Rajesh Gupta, the victim’s father-in-law, told Indian police that Radhika had married his son earlier this year. He explained that the gun, which was believed to be unloaded, was stored on the second floor of their home.

He said that around 4 p.m., upon hearing the gunshot, he rushed upstairs and found his daughter-in-law injured. Police confirmed that the young woman’s phone camera was still recording a selfie at the time. Investigations by Indian authorities are ongoing.
