SAEDNEWS: A honeymoon is typically a journey for newlyweds to enjoy together, but this Indian groom went on his honeymoon alone, without his bride.
According to Saed News, citing Eghtesad News, a newlywed groom ended up spending his honeymoon alone after a mishap derailed the plans of an Indian couple. The couple had meticulously planned every moment of their honeymoon in Italy, but their dream came to a halt when they realized the bride’s passport was missing.
The bride and groom, who were eager to travel right after their wedding, faced a major problem: the bride had lost her passport and had no idea where it might be. Canceling the trip wasn’t an option either, as the flight and hotel bookings were non-refundable.
As a result, the groom decided to go on the honeymoon alone—taking a photo of his bride with him. He traveled to Greece and Italy, and throughout the trip, he took pictures with the photo while on planes, trains, and at hotels or tourist sites, sending them to his wife as he went.
A similar situation had happened previously with a Pakistani bride, who had to go on her honeymoon alone after her husband lost his passport.
