SAEDNEWS: A Hindi Father's Desire for a Son Leads Him to Have Over 16 Children
According to SaedNews Society Service, an Indian couple, 40-year-old Kano Sangod and 45-year-old Ramsinh, currently have 15 daughters and a 2-year-old son. Due to their desire for another son, the woman is hoping her 16th pregnancy will result in a boy.
The couple married 20 years ago and live in the village of Jharibujhi in the Gujarat region of India. Reports indicate that all 16 of their children were born naturally.
The husband, who has long wished for a male child, decided to continue expanding the family after the birth of their first daughters.
Life for the family, who rely on farming and face financial hardship, is challenging. Some daughters have married, while others tragically died in infancy. Many of the remaining daughters must work in the fields alongside their parents. The family’s difficult financial situation is so severe that the mother sometimes has little to eat during her pregnancies.
