The Dehban House on Bandar Anzali’s 30-Meter Street is one of the most notable architectural works from the early Pahlavi period. This house is now on the verge of destruction, despite having been registered on Iran’s National Heritage List less than two weeks ago—yet this designation has so far done little to protect it from decay.
The house has been largely abandoned, with all doors and windows broken. Its walls are crumbling, and the gradual destruction is bringing the building closer to collapse. It is said that in the past, this house was used as a filming location for Fish in Love.
