To prepare chicken and mushroom meatballs, you will need:

  • 500 grams chicken breast

  • Salt and black peppercorns as needed

  • 30 grams fresh parsley

  • 6 tablespoons wheat flour

  • 1 egg

  • 10 to 12 mushrooms

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

  • Vegetable oil as needed

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • Half a chicken stock cube mixed with 2 liters of water

Steps for Preparing Chicken and Mushroom Meatballs

Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper, then cook it with water for about 45 minutes until fully cooked.

  2. After the chicken is completely cooked, shred or finely mince it.

  3. Place the chicken, chopped parsley, and half of the flour in a bowl. Mix the ingredients thoroughly by hand until well combined.

  4. Add the egg to the mixture and stir well. Then place the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to rest.

  5. Combine the mushrooms with fresh lemon juice and place them in a pan over high heat.

  6. Add butter and oil to the pan and sauté the mushrooms until all the released liquid has evaporated.

  7. In another pot, heat a little oil and sauté the tomato paste. Add the chicken stock and bring the liquid to a boil.

  8. Remove the chicken mixture from the refrigerator and shape it into meatballs.

  9. Coat each meatball with flour, then carefully place them into the boiling chicken stock.

  10. Cook the meatballs for 10 minutes with the lid off, then continue cooking for another 30 minutes with the lid on.

  11. Add the sautéed mushrooms to the pot and allow everything to cook together for another 5 minutes.

  12. The chicken and mushroom meatballs are now ready to serve. Serve them with the flavorful broth from the pot.
