Making pancakes is very easy. This snack and dessert can be prepared with milk, orange juice, yogurt, without milk, or even just with a little water. Below, you will learn how to make simple pan-fried pancakes.

Sugar: 1 tablespoon
Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
Vanilla: a pinch
Egg: 1
Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon
Milk: 1 cup
White flour: 1.5 cups
Kiwi, banana, strawberries: for decoration

Crack one egg into a suitable bowl and whisk it well using a fork or hand whisk until it becomes smooth.

Add sugar, salt, and vanilla to the egg and mix well.

Pour in one cup of milk and mix until fully combined.

Sift the flour twice and gradually add it to the mixture. Sifting helps make the flour lighter and prevents lumps.

Add the baking powder and stir well.

Add the vegetable oil and mix again.

Stir the batter until it reaches a smooth consistency. Let it rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes so the baking powder can activate.
Lightly grease a pan and place it over low heat. Pour the batter into the pan using a ladle or piping method, forming round shapes.

Cook both sides of the pancakes until golden. Be careful, as pancakes cook quickly and can burn easily.

Serve and decorate with chocolate, kiwi, banana, strawberries, honey, jam, or butter.

The batter should be smooth and slightly elastic, not too thick or too runny.
Heat control is very important; use low to medium heat. Test with a few small pancakes first if needed.
Use a thick-bottomed pan to avoid burning.
You only need to grease the pan once at the beginning.
For extra flavor, you can use half milk and half orange juice.
Milk is optional; water can be used instead, but milk gives softer and tastier pancakes.
