Contrary to popular belief, although Samsung’s headquarters is located in South Korea, most of its smartphones are manufactured outside the country. Due to limited production capacity in South Korea, Samsung has decided to outsource more than 90% of its smartphone production. This outsourcing is carried out in countries such as India and Vietnam.
