SAEDNEWS: The highly publicized unveiling of alleged extraterrestrial bodies in Mexico’s Congress has brought back memories of the so-called Achaemenid princess mummy, a story that attracted widespread media attention years ago.

According to Saed News, science journalist and television host Siavash Safarianpour responded to the recent wave of reports surrounding alleged extraterrestrial evidence, emphasizing that two widely discussed stories have been incorrectly linked.

“The news coming from the U.S. Congress and the reports presented in the Mexican Congress happened at roughly the same time, but they are two entirely separate events,” Safarianpour said. “Their coincidence in timing has led some media outlets to present them together, when in reality each case should be evaluated independently.”

He added that if humanity were ever to discover evidence of extraterrestrial life or establish contact with an alien civilization, it would represent one of the most significant scientific announcements in human history.

“Stories like these, which resemble sensational tabloid headlines, are unlikely to be credible,” he said. “If such a groundbreaking discovery were ever announced, it would be supported by strong scientific evidence. In both of these recent cases, that scientific foundation has been absent.”

Safarianpour also suggested that the alleged Mexican mummies could have value from a tourism and branding perspective.

“These two Mexican mummies could become an attractive subject for tourism promotion, particularly for a country seeking to attract more visitors,” he said. “It appears that the Mexican Congress rode the wave of publicity generated by the U.S. Congress hearings. No comprehensive archaeological examination has been conducted on these mummies, and it is even possible that they were fabricated by smugglers.”

He compared the controversy to a similar incident in Iran more than two decades ago, when a supposed Achaemenid princess mummy was discovered. The artifact was later determined to be a modern forgery rather than an authentic ancient mummy.
