SAEDNEWS: Yemen Says Drone Strike Hit Aramco Facility in Jizan, Citing Airspace Violations

Yemen Targets Saudi Aramco Refinery in Drone Attack

According to Saednews, Yemen’s armed forces said on Sunday that they had targeted a Saudi Aramco refinery in the Jizan region with a drone, describing the operation as a precise strike carried out in response to alleged Saudi drone activity over Yemeni territory.

Military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said in a statement that the drone successfully reached and struck the facility.

Saree said the operation was carried out in retaliation for what he described as “provocative actions” by Saudi Arabia. He claimed that Saudi reconnaissance and surveillance drones had flown over northern Yemen, particularly the provinces of Saada and Hajjah, in recent days.

The statement did not provide further details about the extent of any damage or casualties resulting from the reported strike.
