The headquarters stated that such an action would significantly escalate tensions and broaden the scope of the war.
According to Saednews, Iran’s top military command has issued a strong warning to the United States, stating that any attack on the country’s nuclear or other sensitive facilities would trigger a powerful military response.
In an official statement, the military accused the United States of threatening Iran’s strategic sites and declared that such an action would be viewed as a major escalation of regional conflict. It warned that American interests, along with those of its allies and supporters, could become targets of retaliatory strikes by Iran’s armed forces.
The statement followed remarks attributed to US President Donald Trump, who reportedly said during a meeting with Lebanese President Michel Aoun that the United States could target Iran’s Pickaxe Mountain nuclear facility in the near future.
According to the text provided, recent US military operations involved multiple airstrikes on locations inside Iran. In response, Iran reportedly launched retaliatory attacks against American strategic positions across West Asia.
