SAEDNEWS: The Islamic Resistance in Iraq condemned what it described as U.S. President Donald Trump's offensive remarks about the late Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis. The group also claimed that it has allocated a $10 million bounty for the killing of Trump.
According to Saednews, An Iraqi armed resistance group has announced that it has set a $10 million reward for the killing of former U.S. President Donald Trump.
In a statement, the group said the money was collected through donations from its supporters and allocated specifically for this purpose.
The statement accused Trump of taking pride in the U.S. operation that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani and Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in January 2020. It described the strike as evidence of what it called the moral decline of the U.S. government.
The group further claimed that the incident would remain a lasting disgrace for Trump and his administration, adding that those it referred to as "free people of the world" would continue to pursue those responsible for the deaths of children and scientists.
Qasem Soleimani, commander of Iran's Quds Force, was killed in a U.S. drone strike near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020, while visiting Iraq. Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces, was also killed in the same strike.
The statement concluded by asserting that Trump would find no safe refuge from what it described as justice, and said holding him accountable for Soleimani's killing remained a commitment of the resistance forces.
