Israel’s New Vision for the Region; Netanyahu Issues Fresh Threat

According to the news service of Saed News Agency’s political desk, Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Israeli regime, once again rejected the withdrawal of his forces from occupied areas and emphasized the continued military presence in southern Lebanon, indicating that Tel Aviv has long-term plans for the region. He claimed in justification that the Israeli army intends to establish a buffer security zone along the northern borders to, in his view, prevent Hezbollah operations against the occupied territories and ensure the safety of its forces. However, field evidence and the history of confrontations indicate that Lebanon’s Islamic Resistance has consistently adopted a defensive stance, and all Hezbollah attacks have been merely legitimate responses to preemptive aggressions and the ongoing crimes of the Israeli regime against the territorial integrity of Lebanon and other Muslim countries in the region.

In another part of his remarks, the senior Tel Aviv official, without referring to the strategic deadlocks and the failure of his warmongering policies in the Middle East, once again directed accusations toward the Islamic Republic of Iran. Netanyahu repeated past claims about conducting operations inside Iran and reiterated rhetoric about preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, calling it an existential threat to Israel.

The repetition of these unfounded claims comes at a time when Iran’s military doctrine has consistently emphasized the peaceful nature of its nuclear program, and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has repeatedly confirmed that there has been no deviation in this program. In contrast, the Israeli regime is the only holder of non-conventional weapons in the region, possessing hundreds of nuclear warheads while refusing any international oversight. Meanwhile, the joint efforts of the United States and the Israeli regime to strike Iran’s sovereignty and nuclear facilities reportedly failed completely after a forty-day period, and Netanyahu’s recent rhetoric appears to be merely a media attempt to cover up these deep intelligence and operational failures.
