Saed News: Israeli media reported that Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of this regime, requested the cancellation of his court session.
According to SAEDNEWS, citing Al Jazeera, Zionist sources reported that Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of this regime, today once again requested the cancellation of his court session on security and political grounds.
According to the report, the prosecution of this regime opposed Netanyahu’s request and postponed the court session to this afternoon.
Last week, the interrogation of Netanyahu in the so-called “4000 case,” the “Bezeq–Walla” case in which he is accused of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust, was completed, and immediately afterward the hearing of the financial corruption case “2000” began.
Case 2000 also relates to accusations regarding the exchange of bribes between Netanyahu and the owner of the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.
The court session of the occupied Jerusalem district once again caused controversy. In the middle of the interrogation, he received a sealed envelope and then, claiming an “urgent security matter,” requested to leave the court immediately.
Sources close to Netanyahu have refused to disclose the content of the envelope, a matter that has fueled speculation about the instrumental use of security issues to evade judicial accountability.
It is said that Netanyahu is still trying to disrupt the court process using security and political excuses and to evade accountability for serious corruption charges.
