SAEDNEWS: Israeli Media Reports UAE Strongly Angered by Netanyahu Office’s Public Disclosure of Abu Dhabi Visit

UAE Anger Over Netanyahu’s Office Disclosure

According to Saednews report by the Israeli regime’s i24NEWS network, the United Arab Emirates sent a strong protest message to Israel after Netanyahu’s office publicized his planned visit to Abu Dhabi in March.

The network added that Emirati officials are reportedly very angry, noting that this is not the first time such disclosures have been made by Netanyahu’s office.

Quoting a knowledgeable source, the report stated that leaks from Netanyahu’s office are precisely the reason he has not been invited to visit the UAE in recent years.

Despite reports circulating about Netanyahu’s trip to Abu Dhabi and his meeting with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed, the country’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement denying the claims.

Zeev Agmon, a former chief of staff to Netanyahu, later stated that Netanyahu did in fact visit Abu Dhabi and was received “like a king.” He added that Mohamed bin Zayed personally welcomed him at the airport and even accompanied him in his own vehicle to his palace.

In this context, Israeli journalist Amit Segal recently wrote about a secret visit by Netanyahu and a meeting with Mohamed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi. He claimed a covert flight took place while Israeli airspace was completely closed, with efforts made to ensure no leaks or tracking occurred.

Segal further noted that during the visit, an agreement was reached regarding the transfer of Iron Dome air defense systems from Israel to the UAE.

He also wrote that Mohamed bin Zayed has publicly hosted former Israeli prime ministers such as Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, while contacts with Benjamin Netanyahu have reportedly taken place behind closed doors.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi recently stated that it was revealed Netanyahu had traveled to Abu Dhabi during the war, and suggested that cooperation may have occurred in recent attacks, calling the UAE an active partner in the escalation.
