SAEDNEWS: The spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya emphasized that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will soon respond and retaliate against what was described as an act of “armed piracy” carried out by the U.S. military.
According to Saed News political desk, Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters, stated that the United States violated a ceasefire and carried out what he described as an act of maritime piracy. He claimed that U.S. forces opened fire on an Iranian commercial ship in the waters of the Gulf of Oman, disabled its navigation system, and deployed armed personnel onto the vessel’s deck.
Zolfaghari added that Iran’s armed forces warn they will soon respond to what he called the U.S. military’s armed piracy and will retaliate accordingly.
