SAEDNEWS: Iranian officials insist that Lebanon is part of the two-week ceasefire with the United States, strongly condemning the Wednesday aggression of the south of Lebanon by the regime after the truce.
According to Saednews, The Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei strongly condemned today's brutal attacks by the Zionist regime on various regions of Lebanon, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of Lebanese citizens, and called it a heinous and shameful crime.
Referring to the US government's commitment (within the framework of the understanding reached with Iran through Pakistani mediation) that Lebanon is also included in the Iran-US ceasefire, the Foreign Ministry spokesman noted, "As the Pakistani Prime Minister has also stated, stopping the war on the Lebanese front is one of the components of the Iran-US ceasefire understanding, and today's crimes by the Zionist regime against Lebanon are a clear violation of this understanding."

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, for his part, wrote on X that “the Iran–U.S. Ceasefire terms are clear and explicit: the U.S. must choose—ceasefire or continued war via Israel. It cannot have both.”
“The world sees the massacres in Lebanon. The ball is in the U.S. court, and the world is watching whether it will act on its commitments,” Araghchi also said.
