SAEDNEWS: Today’s strike by the Israeli regime on the backbone of Iran’s steel industry has altered the rules of engagement; now, artificial intelligence data centers in the occupied territories have been placed on Iran’s target list.
According to the political desk of Saed News Agency, citing Fars News Agency, the Israeli regime today carried out an action that analysts describe as the beginning of a dangerous game targeting strategic industries. It attacked Iran’s most profitable sector—the steel industry—specifically two major companies, Mobarakeh Steel Company and Khuzestan Steel Company.
Although the attacks did not result in widespread destruction, the act itself signals that Iran could, in response, target Israel’s most profitable industries. These sectors form the backbone of Israel’s economy and generate a large share of its exports and foreign currency revenues.
This report examines Israel’s high-tech industry as the most lucrative segment of its economy—an industry encompassing three main areas: cybersecurity, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence infrastructure and data centers.
