SAEDNEWS: Reuters claims: US military prepares for extended operations against Iran

Breaking: Reuters Reveals Unprecedented U.S. Military Action Against Iran – Is a Long War Ahead?

According to the Saed News political service, Reuters reported early Saturday that, citing two U.S. officials, the United States military is preparing scenarios for consecutive and long-term military operations against Iran—operations that, according to these sources, would begin if ordered by Donald Trump.

Reuters wrote that these operations could last for weeks and elevate tensions to a level beyond previous confrontations between the two countries.

In line with this, U.S. officials said the Department of Defense (Pentagon) is sending another aircraft carrier to the Western Asia region. This vessel is expected to join the USS Abraham Lincoln strike group, which is already present in the area.

According to the report, deploying a new carrier would involve stationing thousands of military personnel, fighter jets, and missile-equipped destroyers in the region—an action analysts say is a clear signal of Washington’s increasing military pressure.

These movements come as Iranian and U.S. diplomats held meetings last week in the Sultanate of Oman to explore diplomatic avenues in the nuclear issue.

On Friday, Trump, in a speech at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, referred to the talks and claimed that reaching an agreement with Iran is “difficult.” Meanwhile, the White House spokesperson stated that “all options are on the table.”

These positions come as the Islamic Republic of Iran has consistently emphasized that threats and pressure yield no results and that any adventurous action will be met with a decisive response.
