SAEDNEWS: Oil prices rose in early trading on Wednesday amid market volatility, as investors awaited Washington’s next steps in the conflict with Iran following the Democrats’ victory in the US midterm elections and their takeover of the Senate.
According to Saednews, Brent crude futures rose by 82 cents, or 0.8%, to $104.42 per barrel as of 05:10 GMT.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also increased by 50 cents, or 0.5%, reaching $96.59 per barrel, reversing earlier losses, Al Jazeera reported.
The gains came after Brent crude settled at its lowest level in nearly four weeks during the previous trading session, as investors assessed diplomatic efforts to end the wars in Ukraine and Iran.
