Trump knows he will be attacked because of this deal. Regional stabilization of the agreement is not only important for its durability in practice, but also gives him a degree of support in Washington.
Instead of just saying “Iran,” Trump uses “Islamic Republic of Iran,” which will be noted in Tehran.
Trump says he also spoke with Netanyahu, and the call went well. The lack of detail here is interesting.
