SAEDNEWS: Family Preparing to Bury Child Stunned as He Comes Back to Life
According to reports from Saed News Agency, citing Young Journalists Club, a three-year-old Mexican girl, who had previously been declared dead, was found to be alive during her own funeral. The death of “Camila Roxana Martínez” had been confirmed by hospital doctors on Wednesday, yet the child reportedly showed signs of life 12 hours later.
According to Mirror, the family’s joy did not last long. After the child was transferred back to the same hospital, her death was announced once again. This unusual and tragic incident occurred at Salinas de Hidalgo Hospital in San Luis Potosí state, located in central Mexico.

Camila’s mother, María Jane Mendoza, explained that she had taken her daughter to a local medical center in Villa de Ramos after the child experienced stomach pain, vomiting, and fever. Doctors there recommended immediate transfer to a hospital, where the child was treated for severe dehydration and given pain medication.

However, Camila’s condition worsened, leading to another transfer to the hospital. Mendoza said: “My daughter was placed on oxygen. However, between 9 and 10 that night, Camila was declared dead.”
Mendoza also alleged that hospital staff locked her in a room and separated her from her daughter, allowing her to exit through another door. The following day, during the child’s funeral ceremony, a mourner noticed condensation forming on the glass of the coffin, suggesting that Camila was breathing. Her mother-in-law later observed eye movement, and further checks indicated that the child might still be alive.
The coffin was opened immediately, and the child was rushed back to the hospital. However, doctors again confirmed her death after examination. The family has filed a complaint against the hospital.
Meanwhile, José Luis Ruiz, Attorney General of San Luis Potosí state, confirmed that a full investigation is underway, and an autopsy has already been performed.
