Saed News: The suspect in the murder of a man in Andimeshk, who is said to have been killed by his ex-wife, has been arrested.
According to SAEDNEWS, citing the homicide unit, Hassan Sepehvand, the prosecutor of Andimeshk, said that on April 1 (13 Farvardin), citizens who were spending time outdoors for Nature Day discovered the body of a middle-aged man in a water canal near Cham-Golek on the outskirts of the city.
He added that criminal investigators and a special homicide prosecutor immediately arrived at the scene. After identifying the victim, investigations were launched to identify the perpetrators.
Sepehvand stated that after technical and investigative work, one accomplice of the suspect was arrested and confessed that the main killer was the victim’s ex-wife.
The prosecutor further announced that orders were issued to arrest the main suspect, who was eventually detained at her hideout.
He confirmed that the suspect, who is the victim’s ex-wife, confessed to the murder, and after a crime scene reconstruction, the case has entered the next stage of judicial proceedings.
