Saed News: Burak Özdemir, the famous Turkish chef who has many branches worldwide under the name CZN Burak (including in Dubai, Qatar, etc.), now reportedly has only one branch left.
According to Saed News, Burak Özdemir’s father secretly sold the rights to the chef’s name to a foreign individual (reportedly an Arab) without his knowledge, leaving him with no official branches.
After discovering this alleged fraud, Burak sold all of his luxury cars and opened a new branch in a shopping mall in Istanbul. In a video message, he urged his fans not to trust anyone and stated that he has only one official branch, while the others are misusing his name and image.
Burak Özdemir has filed a lawsuit against his father and has also requested that all signs and photos bearing his image be removed from all other branches, as his name—now considered a major brand in the restaurant industry—is being used without his permission. The court hearing between the father and son, who are now in conflict, is scheduled to take place in the fall.
