According to the political news service of the Saed News analytical website, U.S. President Donald Trump posted a tweet a short while ago regarding the Strait of Hormuz, writing:
“This is global-level extortion, and the leaders of countries—especially the United States of America—will never submit to extortion. I have ordered our navy to identify and stop any vessel in international waters that has paid tolls to Iran!
No one who pays such illegal tolls will have safe passage in open waters! We will also begin destroying mines that Iran has placed in the straits.
Any Iranian who fires at us or at civilian ships will be severely destroyed.”
