SAEDNEWS: Former U.S. President Donald Trump said he had “no knowledge” of Israel’s recent strike on Iran’s South Pars gas field and stated that no further attacks on the site will take place.
According to SAEDNEWS, Trump addressed the incident by saying that Israel carried out the strike in anger over recent developments in the Middle East. The attack reportedly hit a relatively small section of the South Pars gas field, one of the world’s largest natural gas reserves.
Trump emphasized that the United States had no prior information about the attack. He also noted that Qatar had no involvement in the incident and was not aware of the operation beforehand.
He added that Iran was unaware of these circumstances and, in response, launched what he described as an unjustified attack on part of Qatar’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities.
Trump concluded by stating that there will be no further Israeli attacks related to the South Pars gas field.
