SAEDNEWS: The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) says that the country’s non-oil exports registered a 108 percent growth in a recent week in value, compared to the week earlier.
According to SAEDNEWS, The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) put the country’s non-oil export value in a recent week at $1.7 billion.
In the week leading up to December 27 (January 17), Iran exported 3.449 million tons of non-oil goods, marking a 60 percent increase, IRICA noted.
According to available data, 1.157 million tons of non-oil goods, valued at $1.152 billion, were imported into the country during the same week, reflecting a 36 percent increase in weight and a 1 percent increase in value.
Additionally, 438,000 tons of foreign goods were transited via Iran in the recent week, showing a 37 percent growth compared to the previous week.
During this period, 928,000 tons of basic goods (foodstuffs) were imported, registering a 38 percent increase, the administration added.
