SAEDNEWS: Last week, during the unrest, a number of mosques, public centers, and state institutions—along with private properties belonging to citizens—were set on fire amid what authorities described as the hatred of mercenary elements aligned with the enemy. Police say those responsible for the acts of destruction have been arrested.
According to SAEDNEWS, According to the Political Desk of Saed News Agency, citing Fars News, police announced that the individual responsible for setting fire to the Islamic Development Organization building and a branch of Saderat Bank in Tehran’s Sabalan neighborhood has been arrested and handed over to judicial authorities.
Police also said that those who instigated unrest in the Khak-e Sefid area of Tehranpars were linked to hostile elements. Four of the main organizers and leaders involved in riots, unrest, and vandalism in the Khak-e Sefid neighborhood—who were reportedly connected to agents of the Zionist regime—have been detained.
In a separate development, 60,000 units of various cold weapons, including knives and brass knuckles, which were allegedly intended to be transported to Tehran and distributed among rioters, were discovered and confiscated in Bushehr.
