According to SAEDNEWS, An English newspaper stated that talks began following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’s political office in Tehran, and Fouad Shukr, a senior commander of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The Financial Times reported that Enrique Mora, the Deputy Secretary-General for Foreign Policy of the European Union, held discussions with Iranian officials in Tehran on Wednesday.

Mora, who traveled to Tehran to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of "Masoud Pezeshkian," the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with "Seyyed Abbas Araghchi," the Secretary of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations on Wednesday. During this meeting, the two sides discussed various aspects and topics related to Iran and Europe's relations.

The Financial Times also reported that on the other hand, Brett McGurk, the U.S. representative for Middle Eastern affairs, held discussions with Saudi officials to reduce tensions in the region. He is also expected to travel to Egypt.

This English newspaper claimed that these European and American officials focused on convincing Iran not to respond to these assassinations and to take "symbolic action."

Hezbollah officially announced on Wednesday night that "Fouad Ali Shukr," a senior commander of the movement, was martyred in a terrorist attack on Tuesday by the Zionist occupying regime in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

On Wednesday morning, the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement that Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas's political office, and one of his bodyguards were martyred due to the targeting of their residence in Tehran.

The cowardly and immoral act of the Zionist regime in assassinating the head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement has provoked a wave of condemnation worldwide.
