SAEDNEWS: A group of Iranian artists gathered outside the office of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to hold a memorial ceremony for the schoolchildren killed in an attack on the Shajareh‑Tayyebeh school in the southern city of Minab.
According to SAEDNEWS, The gathering, organized by members of Iran’s artistic community, was held to commemorate the victims and to condemn what participants described as a crime committed by the United States that resulted in the deaths of several children.
Artists attending the event stood together in front of the UNICEF office, honoring the memory of the students while calling attention to the tragedy. Participants emphasized the suffering of children affected by the conflict and expressed solidarity with the families of the victims.
During the ceremony, speakers and attendees highlighted the importance of protecting civilians—particularly children—from violence and conflict.
